If your battery has an issue that's covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, we'll service your iPhone at no additional cost.
Our warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use. If your battery wears down, we offer out-of-warranty battery service for a fee.
If you have AppleCare+, it covers your iPhone for no additional charge if your product's battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity. We might need to test your product to find the cause of your battery issue.
Same-day battery repair
We can repair your battery and have your iPhone back the same day. We use genuine Apple parts to deliver Apple-certified repairs, which are backed by Apple, so you’ll get your iPhone back and working exactly the way it should. Bring your iPhone to us by appointment, and we’ll have it ready for pickup later that day. Same-day service is available for iPhone 6 or later. Please confirm part availability with us prior to service.
Recommended Battery Replacement
We recommend having your iPhone battery replaced if your maximum capacity is below 80% or if performance management has been applied. This information can be found in Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health
If your iPhone has any damage that impairs the replacement of the battery, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the battery replacement.
We'll test your iPhone to see if it has a battery issue or a different power issue. If your iPhone has a non-battery power issue, we'll give you the repair price after we determine the cause.
