  1. Q When can I activate in store with your location?
    A Due to our current COVID-19 processes, we do Public Mobile activations Monday - Friday at 10am and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. For all other times, we recommend contacting us for an appointment.
  2. Q I am with another carrier, can I keep my phone number?
    A We can port your number to Public Mobile so, you can keep your existing number. To port your number, you must have your account number from your current provider, and the account must still be active. Once we port your number, your account will automatically be closed with your previous carrier.
  3. Q My friend gave me a referral code, can I use that at your location?
    A Yes! We can use your friend's referral code when activating your Public Mobile plan. You will receive a one time $10 credit and your friend will also get $1 off per month, as long as you remain a Public Mobile customer. Once you activate your self serve account, you too will get a referral code to share with your friends.
  4. QDo I need a credit card to sign up?
    A Since Public Mobile is pre-paid, no credit checks are required. You can register for auto pay with us during activation using a credit card, Visa Debit, or Debit Mastercard. Alternatively, you can buy a top up voucher from us in store, without the need of a credit card.
