Accidental Damage / Screen Damage
Accidental damage isn't covered by Apple’s Limited Warranty. Apple’s warranty is in addition to your existing consumer law rights.
If your iPad gets damaged, you have the option to replace your iPad for a fee. If you have AppleCare+, it includes coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage, including screen damage. Each incident has a service fee, as shown.
If you don’t have AppleCare+, you’ll pay an out-of-warranty fee, as shown.
There is the possibility that we may need to mail your device in to Apple's repair depot for service depending on diagnostics results. Repair turnaround time may take up to 10 days.
Before bringing in for repair
- Back up your device, either with iCloud or iTunes
- Turn off Find My iPad
- Bring any chargers and accessories that may be part of the issue
